Heghineh Cooking Show – How to make Homemade Lahmajun Meat Pie Recipe
Lahmajun: an Arabic dish made of bread and spiced minced meat ,with tomato sauce and parsley . Very flavorful and delicious , yet so easy to make.This dish is often called as Middle Eastern or Armenian pizza .I still think the word pizza is not what really describes this specific dish.Traditional Lahmajun (Meat Pie Recipe) is made with ground lamb,I’ve tried making it with other ground meats such as: beef,turkey, chicken. By far half & half beef with lamb worked the best.When choosing meat for Lahmajun ,make sure to use something with at least 25-30% fat, that way you’ll have really juicy and tasty Lahmajun .And feel free to use your preferred spices to season the meat.As for the bread part of it,it’s really simple : water,salt ,flour .Of course you can also make it with regular bread dough.Just as pizza, Lahmajun( Meat Pie) Recipe can be made different sizes: mini, medium or large, just make it at your presence .You can bake it in the oven or in a non stick pan with tide cover.
